State of Young Philly (SOYP) is an annual event series held in the fall that brings together over organizations and young Philadelphians, elected officials, organizational leaders, and millennials. SOYP 2020 will focus on how young Philadelphians can make a difference locally. what civic engagement means to young Philadelphians. Our theme this year is: "Start Local, Get Vocal". Proposed SOYP events should aim to answer the questions: 'How can I make a difference locally in my neighborhood?' and 'How can I use my voice to impact change locally?' State of Young Philly 2020 will be held from October 9-22, 2020. More information can be found in our Request for Proposals form.

We welcome you to join us as we work to engage, to connect, and to represent young Philadelphians across the city, helping them become better citizens and equipped to inspire change in Philadelphia.YIP is a non-partisan organization and State of Young Philly is looking for RFPs that represent the range of affiliations present in Philadelphia.
