Philadelphia is home to over 300 public, private, independent and charter schools. Beyond educating the city's youth, they provide an opportunity to get involved with your neighborhood, support your local school network and help our PHL students. There are many organizations that currently support schools in a variety of ways from out of school programs to in-school assistance, but they need your help.
This Back to School Edition of YIP's Get Involved Happy Hour is focused on organizations that support education and serve students. If you are interested in learning about what volunteer and engagement opportunities are available or how you, as a Philadelphian, can get involved with your schools, this is the happy hour for you! Meet some liked-minded people and find your next passion with us.
Join us on Thursday, August 22nd at 5:30pm at The Post.
Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) builds relationships and increases civic engagement to empower and connect young citizens in Philadelphia.
