Ahhh, summer time. As we approach the hazy dog days of summer we know that becoming and staying civically engaged is going to be tough. It's easy to let staying active in our communities fall to the bottom of the list. Though with a little effort and planning, if you are hungry enough, you can have your cake, share it, it eat, and even throw it – all while staying civically engaged too. So join us at our Get Involved Happy Hour and learn about how you can plug in this summer and beyond! PLUS, it's yappy hour so make sure you bring all of your civically engaged pups along for the event.

Whether you're new to Philly and looking to get more involved in your community, or a seasoned YIP veteran, we invite you to kick off the summer at the PHS Pop Up Garden in University City! This event is a great chance for you to meet fellow YIPsters while eating some snacks, sipping some drinks and taking in the botanical views. And I mean, who doesn't love a good beer garden?
