ABOUT ABOUT

Did you know that Philadelphia was home to the first pride marches before there were pride marches? In 1965, the first Annual Reminder protest took place in front of Independence Hall, organized in part by the "Mother of the LGBT Movement", Barbara Gitting. Philly has a rich history of LGBTQ+ pride, and Young Involved Philadelphia wants to celebrate and commemorate it all this month with a Pride Get Involved Happy Hour!

Join us on Monday, June 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Tabu Lounge & Sports Bar for an evening of engagement, volunteer opportunities, and drink specials. Nonprofit organizations like Philly FIGHT, Galaei, and the Independence Business Alliance will be there to share their work and get you involved.

Your first drink is included in your ticket price, and $5 specials will be available for beer, wine, and well drinks.
