This November 14-22, Young Involved Philadelphia will host its 5th annual State of Young Philly (SOYP), a burst of programming designed to showcase the positive impact young professionals are making on Philadelphia, amplify their voices, and engage them in civic and social good.
Last year and in the three years prior, YIP developed the event schedule and approached strategic partners. Past events have taken the form of lightning talks, walking tours, and unconferences, all designed to give participants the opportunities to interact with issues and decisionmakers.
This year, YIP wants to provide more partners with the opportunity to be a part of State of Young Philly. On Wednesday, July 16 all interested partners are invited to attend an information session to learn about how to get involved by organizing an event during SOYP 2014. During the info sesssion, YIP board members will review the SOYP 2014 Request for Proposal Form and and answer questions about the event application process.
