We've probably all abandoned our New Years resolutions by now so to celebrate we are running to Philly's world famous pastry shop, Termini Bros Bakery for a behind the scenes tour to see where the magic happens (or in this case, where the cannolis get filled).
We'll start the run at Philadelphia Runner at 16th and Sansom at 6:30 p.m. and run 4 miles before ending at the bakery on 8th street (just north of Tasker). We'll get a tour, ask some questions and head to Pub on Passyunk East (POPE) for drinks after. All paces welcome!
About YIP Run Club
The YIP running club is a collaboration between Young Involved Philadelphia and Philadelphia Runner with participation from partners across the city. Runners of all levels are welcome, with most runs splitting into groups for longer and shorter distance runners.
Each month the group runs 2-5 miles to an interesting place in the city (historic, public space, point of interest, etc.) for a brief 5-10 minute tour or Q & A before heading to bar in the neighborhood for post-run camaraderie.
The goal of the YIP running club is to provide a new avenue for conversation and networking while exploring interesting locations throughout Philadelphia (and hey, you get a workout in too).
