If you're new to Philly or looking to get more involved in your community, this is the happy hour for you. Join Young Involved Philadelphia and a few of our partner organizations at The Plough and The Stars on April 23rd to learn more about what's happening in Philly and how you can get involved.
Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $7.
Minute long flash talks
Halfway through the 2-hour event there will be a call for anyone who has a project, upcoming event, or organization they want to share with the group to come up to the front of the room. In the interest of time, we'll cap at 10 people or groups.
Each person or group will be given 1 minute to introduce and pitch their organization to the crowd.
YIP will summarize the pitches and tweet each one from the @yiphilly account.
After 10 minutes, networking and socializing will resume!
