ABOUT ABOUT

Make this President's Day meaningful by helping Young Involved Philadelphia Philadelphia get out the vote! Many Philadelphia organizations dedicate their time to improving voter turn out and ensuring everyone has a voice in the process. With voter registration dates looming and the Primary Election just around the corner, this Get Involved Happy Hour is focused on voter equity and registration. If you are interested in new volunteer and engagement opportunities or learning about how you can help to increase voter participation, this is the Happy Hour for you.

Join us on Monday, February 17 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Devil's Alley Bar & Grill. Attendees will recieve a free drink ticket and a discount code to the Philadelphia Film Society Young Friends' same-night BYOB screening of ELECTION at the PFS Roxy Theater.

Organizations Attending:

  • Committee of 70 : a 115-year-old nonpartisan civic leadership organization that advances representative, ethical and effective government in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania through citizen engagement and public policy advocacy.
  • League of Women Voters of Philadelphia : a nonpartisan political organization made up of women and men of all ages and backgrounds which encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
